You know what they don’t tell you about adulthood? That you never truly feel grown up. I’m 40, and I still feel like a kid most of the time, still just trying to figure things out, and hoping that someday I’ll might be something more than what I am.
Making a hobby out of drawing certainly doesn’t help me feel any more mature.
But hey, maturity is overrated. Drawing makes me smile, and I’m finding it makes other people smile too, and for that, I am truly thankful.
