There are common themes you see in literature and film. One of those is conflict. Peace is what we long for, but conflict is our reality. As a great author once said (and I massively paraphrase)–let the children imagine enemies and heroes, dragons and knights, conflict and triumph, because then when they meet the conflict in real life they’ll believe in good and have hope for the future.
