I don’t think this wee lil’ p-dog is going to be put on guard duty again any time soon…
In other news, I spent WAY too long watching videos of these cute little prairie dogs in preparation for today’s #inktober prompt: watch. They have something like 12 different calls and one that they specifically use for snakes. Also, free one for you, after they warn their little tribe of danger, they’ll often tag team the snake and chase it away. Once the snake retreats, they are known to bury the snake alive in their holes.
Hopefully not this snake though. Honestly seems like a decent fellow. Maybe they could be friends.
